Consolidated Plan Process

On behalf of Anne Arundel County, ACDS is leading the planning process to develop the County's five year housing and community development Consolidated Plan. The "Con Plan" will govern the direction of federal, State, and local housing and community development funds for the next five years, therefore it is critical that the needs of the community be heard and understood as part of this process.

Citizens, community leaders, housing and community development providers and advocates are encouraged to participate in the following upcoming meetings.

October Public Hearing – Thursday, October 22, 2009, 6:30 p.m.

• Report accomplishments from previous year
• Gather Information on service needs in the community
• Brief update on FY 2011 Budget Process
Note: FY 2011 Budget Activity Recommendation Forms are due to ACDS by November 25, 2009. Click here for more information.

November Public Forum – Wednesday, November 18, 2009, 6:30 p.m.

• Report on information and data gathering to date
• Prioritize five Year Housing and Community Development Needs as a group

February Public Hearing – February 25, 2010, 6:30 p.m.

• ACDS will present draft five year goals to the public
• Staff will announce FY 2011 Funding Recommendations
