The DRAFT Consolidated Plan: FY 2011 – FY 2015 is is available for review, however, the public comment period ended on Friday, April 16, 2010.
Publication of Consolidated Plan follows a nine month public process, including public meetings and focus groups where citizens were invited to provide input on the County’s housing and community development needs, goals and strategies for the next five year period.
Copies of the Plan are also available for review at local Anne Arundel County libraries and at the office of Arundel Community Development Services, Inc. (ACDS), 2666 Riva Road, Suite 210, Annapolis, Maryland 21401 during normal business hours.

Access by Persons with Disabilities
Copies of the draft Consolidated Plan will be made available in a form accessible to persons with disabilities upon request. Information on these programs is advertised through the Radio Reading Service of Baltimore for visually impaired persons. Consolidated Plan Process
On behalf of Anne Arundel County, ACDS is leading the planning process to develop the County's five year housing and community development Consolidated Plan. The "Con Plan" will govern the direction of federal, State, and local housing and community development funds for the next five years, therefore it is critical that the needs of the community be heard and understood as part of this process.
Citizens, community leaders, housing and community development providers and advocates are encouraged to participate in the following upcoming meetings.
October Public Hearing – Thursday, October 22, 2009, 6:30 p.m.
November Public Forum – Wednesday, November 18, 2009, 6:30 p.m.
- Report on information and data gathering to date
- Prioritize five Year Housing and Community Development Needs as a group
February Public Hearing – February 25, 2010, 6:30 p.m.
- ACDS will present draft five year goals to the public
- Staff will announce FY 2011 Funding Recommendations
