County Housing Expo- Another Successful Year!

Arundel Community Development Services, Inc. (ACDS) and the Anne Arundel County Association of Realtors partnered together again this year to host the Anne Arundel County Housing Expo on Saturday, May 21, 2011. The annual event drew over 200 residents, most of whom were potential first-time home buyers looking for information on how to purchase a home. Twenty-five (25) vendors, including Realtors, lenders, government agencies, and non-profit housing organizations were on hand to provide information on buying a home. The Expo included six free workshops on topics such as Introduction to Homebuying, Financial Literacy, and How to Negotiate a Short Sale. Prizes and gift certificates were raffled off throughout the day and children's activities and refreshments were provided.
